Lifting Up the Lift at Jordan Creek

When the community manager at Lift at Jordan Creek reached out, we didn’t hesitate. Residents had been coming into the leasing office in their time of need, sharing that they were struggling to access enough food for themselves and their families. Immediate support was needed, and what we soon learned was that the spirit of generosity had already begun. Our employees had quietly started bringing in food on their own to help residents even before the call ever came. Even more inspiring, some residents who were able to do so brought in extra food to support their neighbors. This outpouring of kindness set the tone for everything that followed.
What began as an informal effort quickly grew into a community-wide response. We assembled and stocked a food pantry right inside the clubhouse, ensuring residents could access essentials without barriers. And as Thanksgiving approached, we delivered groceries and ingredients for complete holiday meals, giving every household the opportunity to prepare and enjoy a warm, comforting dinner.
This initiative was about more than food. It was about dignity, stability, and the reassurance that no one has to face hardship alone. Sometimes the most meaningful impact comes from simply showing up together, when people need it most.
Our mission has always been rooted in immediate impact, meeting people where they are and providing support with care and compassion. Lift at Jordan Creek reminded us exactly why this work matters.
When a community calls, we answer, and often, the community is already answering for one another.
