2026 GFF Golf Outing Recap

With the towering red rocks serving as a stunning backdrop, the Garrett Family Foundation held its golf outing at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colorado. The event raised more than $374,000 through sponsorships, donations, and a silent auction, with 136 golfers from across the country participating.

“Every dollar raised at the golf outing allows the Garrett Family Foundation to step in and make a meaningful difference when people in our communities need help most,” says Emily Griffin, President of Garrett Family Foundation.

In just its third year, the GFF golf outing nearly doubled in size and donations since its inaugural event in 2024. The day began with breakfast and gift bags and then the golfers took to the course where they enjoyed breathtaking views, contest holes, and lunch delivered right to them.

One of the highlights of the day was the party on hole #10, where dozens of The Garrett Companies employees gathered to cheer on the golfers, and maybe have a little fun critiquing the swings from the tee.

“Our golf outing is about so much more than a day on the course,” says Griffin. “It was incredible to see our employees, sponsors, partners, and golfers come together, have fun, and rally around a cause that is making a real difference in people’s lives. The energy throughout the day was truly special, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event.”

Once the last putt was made, teams made their way into the celebration tent for the awards. Winners received custom embroidered head covers to commemorate the day. First place: Great Southern Bank and UMB; Second place: Huntington Bank; Third place: Bank of Texas with The Garrett Companies; and Last Place (aka Good Sports Award): Rokstone and Barricade.

While a monitor displayed photos of the teams on the course, Emily Griffin shared stories of the people GFF has helped this year. None of it would be possible without the generosity of the sponsors.

“Just a special thanks to everybody who took the time,” Eric Garrett, President of The Garrett Companies added. “They didn’t have to be here, they didn’t have to sponsor, but they did. It just furthers the mission of the foundation and we thank them all.”
