From the very beginning, Matt Griffin's role as the chief operating officer of The Garrett Companies was marked by more than mere professional duty. The seed of the Garrett Family Foundation was planted during this time of growth, though its realization was hindered by the whirlwind pace of the company's expansion. Tragically, Matt's battle with cancer ended in 2023, leaving behind his wife Emily, their three children, and a company and family deeply mourning his loss.
